town.
as part of the church's 400th anniversary queen
elizabeth and prince phillip are in town.
gidionics only see the preparations for the
visit later in the day but it's good to know that
there are at least 2 english tourists in amsterdam
who will not be getting stoned or mashed up in
the red light district......

up till now all material on this journal and
on gidionics YouTube channel were made with

machine that exceeded all expectations..



the cameraphone was the perfect solution
for a photographer without a digital camera.

although the cameraphone will remain an important
part of the journal,gidionics have finally got their
hands on a "real" digital camera that will extend
our photographic possibilities- casio exilim z-1000
- a sleek black and sexy compact camera with a
10 megapixel punch....

however-
we believe that photography is not about the tools
but how you use them. the eye of the photographer
determines the resulting image-irrespective of
whether we use a cameraphone or
the latest digital camera.
the casio just makes life easier by removing
the technical limitations of the cameraphone.

first stop is conwy-a small medieval
walled town famous for its imposing
castle.it's also where gidionics have
strong roots and family ties.



conwy castle dominates the town-
built by the english king edward 1st
to control the welsh and completed
in 1289



the town has other historic gems.
plas mawr was completed in 1585
and is the finest surviving example
of an elizabethan townhouse



situated at the mouth of the river conwy,
conwy is still a fishing town and the local
mussels are said to be the best in europe.

hidden away behind the main
streets in the heart of conwy
is st.mary's church-the oldest
parts of the church date back
to 1190.



down on the quayside next to
the river conwy is our favourite
pub,the liverpool arms.
even after a 2 year absence
is good to see old faces
when we pop in for a drink.



the "smallest house in great britain"
is also to be found on the quay.

yep..conwy has a lot on offer.

gidionics are off to wales.
during our journey its the
toilet on the train from london
to north wales that grabs our
attention.....



for some reason the toilet
comes equipped with what
can only be described as
a huge black rubber dildo.
